Every now and then a special wine comes along and this is one of those moments.

50 50 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and blended from cuvées born between 1995 and 2014, this wine has already run out but Philippe allowed us to reserve a few bottles.

I have been lucky enough to taste some amazing Champagnes (various Cristals, Dom Perignon, Winston Churchill, Taittinger Comtes de Champagne, Bollinger RD, etc.) in my time but this is easily the best in my opinion.

It can never be made again....
