Two hundred hectares of wineyards, twelve thousand hectolitres, about twenty wine growers and two thousand years of history and wine growing traditions. We don't work with many co-ops but this is a good one so sneaks into the collection.
Since 1990, a land subsidiary company has existedin order to perpetuate the wine growing of the Cher Valley.
A well thought out cultivation when added to new technology allows us to work the wines with wisdom. As we listen to nature, so we can collect the grapes during the best point of their maturity.
These different practises allow us to maintain a volume of production that we can control.
Our wine growers cultivate grapes like the Sauvignon, Chenin, Chardonnay for the white ones and Gamay, Cabernet, Côt (Malbec), Grolleau, Pinot noir for the red and rosé ones in the heart of a region full of history, monuments and castles of the Loire.
The cooperative cellar from the vineyard to the wine which is put in the bottle is a tool of production which sells quality of wines (AOP) such as : white, rosé and red Touraine, Rosé de Loire, Touraine Amboise, Crémant de Loire and Sparkling wine of Touraine AOC, white and rosé and Touraine Chenonceaux white and red. The group is also an agent for a patent of production and marketing for the aperitif from Touraine area which is named l' Epine noire and which is popular with tourists, restaurant owners, shopkeepers and other nostalgics of the very old drink.
